Privacy Policy

How we handle the details you share with us, and the data your team captures in the app. Last updated 25 July 2026.

Note: This is a plain-English policy written to accurately describe what the site and app actually do today. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified Australian legal adviser — that review, and filling in the registered entity name and ABN in section 1, are outstanding before this page is considered final and de-indexed from search.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy is issued by [Legal entity name — insert ABN] trading as CleanRun IQ ("we", "us"). It covers the marketing website at cleanruniq.com and enquiries made through it (booking a walkthrough, downloading a resource, or contacting us), and the CleanRun IQ application at app.cleanruniq.com for anyone using it as part of an early-builder or customer engagement.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. What we collect

Website enquiries: name, work email, company, role, and whatever you tell us about your projects when you book a walkthrough, download a resource, or contact us.

App accounts (once provisioned): your name and email, your company and project assignments, and the defect records you create — including photo evidence, location details (building/level/unit/room), descriptions, and, where your device provides it, the location the photo was captured at.

Website analytics: standard traffic data (pages visited, approximate location inferred from IP, device/browser type) collected automatically when you browse the site.

3. How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a walkthrough, send a resource you requested, and follow up about CleanRun IQ.

To run the application for accounts we’ve provisioned: authenticating you, storing and displaying the defect records and evidence your project team captures, and generating reports and handover packs.

To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use defect/project data captured in the app for any purpose beyond providing the service to the company that owns that project.

4. Cookies and analytics

The marketing website loads Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and — on some feature pages — a Pinterest conversion tag, to measure traffic and campaign performance. These are third-party tools that may set cookies and process data outside Australia (see section 6).

We are working towards a cookie consent banner that lets you opt out of non-essential tracking before it loads; until that ships, you can block these scripts using your browser’s tracking-protection or ad-blocking settings. The CleanRun IQ application itself does not run advertising or marketing trackers.

5. Where it is stored

Website enquiry details are held in the tools we use to run the business (email, form and CRM providers).

Application data — accounts, defect records and photo evidence — is stored with Supabase, our database and file storage provider.

Analytics is processed by Google (Analytics/Tag Manager) and, on some pages, Pinterest.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of the providers in section 5 store or process data on servers located outside Australia as part of their standard global infrastructure. Where this happens, we rely on the provider’s own security and privacy commitments as a condition of using their service. We do not currently maintain a country-by-country list of every sub-processor’s server location; if you need this for a specific compliance requirement, contact us and we’ll do our best to provide it.

7. Data retention

Website enquiry details are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, if you become a customer, to support that relationship — or until you ask us to delete them.

Application data (defect records, evidence, account details) is retained for the life of your company’s use of CleanRun IQ, plus a reasonable period afterwards in case it’s needed for a dispute, handover, or legal requirement, after which it is deleted on request.

8. Your rights and choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (see section 9 for how). You can unsubscribe from any follow-up email at any time using the link in the email.

If you believe we’ve mishandled your personal information and you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

9. Account and data deletion

To request deletion of your website enquiry details, your app account, or specific project data, email info@cleanruniq.com from the address the data is associated with, or use our contact page. We’ll confirm what will be deleted and action reasonable requests within 30 days — noting that project data your company relies on for an active defect closeout may need your project admin’s sign-off before we delete it, since it may not be solely yours to delete.
